Work in progress – Trying to do a data driven shooter engine. (Well a single level would be nice if I’m being honest / realistic!)
I’ve never made a game before. Not sure I’ll ever finish due to lack of time!
Messy code, lots of 1D arrays. All gfx in blocks overlaying sprites for collision. Probably all wrong, but fun to make so far :-)
Parallax Clouds, Rain, Thunder, Data driven waves, events and text.
Big boss with fake Genesis style vertical skewing. Uses layer collision but you can shoot it yet.
Occasionally crashes during bullet collisions / explosions haven’t had a chance to debug.
