Oscill8 1.3.0

By Yairkass

It took too long but here it is.
This version is mainly about UI/UX.
It has a help menu so I won’t go into all the instructions here.

But I would love to tell you a little about the idea behind the program.

Most walk cycles and other repetitive motions in nature can be easily represented as a combination of simple waves differing in amp/phase etc.
Very much like sound waves that create together a specific sound or texture. (e.g additive synthesis, draw bar organs etc. )

Since I love math and music and animation,I really wanted to see the effect with my own eyes.

So I built this program where you get a stickman and can control it’s body parts using cyclic signals.

I was extremely pleased to see that the approach works great even with a simple stickman figure.

If you load the samples from the menu you can see for yourself.

Notes:
1. You need some patience to get really nice animations.
2. Intro is very unattractive
3. I am 70% finished with the next step, which is a program where you can load the animations you’ve built and sequence them and play with different animated backgrounds.

Enjoy :-))
