Complete Editor

Copy data into the player to play the game

Upgrade includes color variation as all white was hard to edit

W = wall
1,2,3 = ghost home/start
P = player home/start
A,B,C = bonus points,speed,life
+ = power pill

Dots that will be eaten will automatically be placed in all the empty spaces in the player

Any edge without a wall on either side will automatically act like a passage around as player (or ghost) will travel off one edge and appear on opposite edge

(A) adds selected item, (B) removes a map item

You can hold down A while holding down an arrow key (good for walls) to quickly place lots of stuff… or hold down B with arrow key to quicky erase

There is no undo….

Maps 0-10 are game levels, starting with map 0, game ends with level 10

LOAD MAP loads map stored in data statements
SAVE MAP creates data for transfer to player or storage

PERSIST memory auto saves existing maps you are working on, so you can easily exit and come back and finish your maps

Game player will recreate maps into a nice looking playable map… editor shows map in edit format only

Update 3 add the ability to copy maps… while in the mode to change maps, hit the (A) button to mark (green) a map you want to copy. Then move to a map you want to copy to, and hit (B) button which will overwrite that map by copying the green tagged map into that map highlighted when you hit B…

Practice this before you try this for real as there is NO undo….

Update 4 improves editing ….
While moving cursor in edit mode and need different item…
– hit PAUSE
– select different item
– hit pause again
And edit mode will keep previous spot on map with new item available

The trick is to move the cursor at least once, and this sets PAUSE to jump to ITEM SELECT menu… if you go to edit map and hit pause again without moving cursor, it will take you back to the LOAD SAVE menu… so if you want to go from EDIT to ITEM SELECT move the cursor at least once before you use PAUSE to change the menu
